At AxOrigin Accessibility ("AxOrigin," "we," "us," or "our"), we strive to provide high-quality accessibility solutions and services to help make the web more inclusive. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds may be issued for our products and services, including our accessibility widget (the "Widget"), Accessibility Monitoring, Accessibility Audit, VPAT/ACR Reports, Manual Remediation, and Accessibility Consulting (collectively, the "Services"). This policy is incorporated into and forms part of our Terms of Service. By purchasing or using any of our Services, you agree to this Refund Policy.

Please note that all refunds are issued at our sole discretion and are subject to the terms below. We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time, with changes effective upon posting on our website. Continued use of our Services after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.

General Refund Guidelines

  • No Automatic Refunds for Subscriptions: Subscriptions are non-refundable except as explicitly stated or required by law.
  • One-Time Services: Refunds may be available if we cannot deliver the service as agreed.
  • Trial Periods: Cancel during trial without charge. No refunds for trials converting to paid.
  • Payment Processing: Refunds, if approved, are processed within 5-7 working days. The refunded amount will be credited to the customer's original payment method, typically the bank account associated with the payment.
  • Currency and Taxes: Refunds issued in original purchase currency. Taxes non-refundable.
  • How to Request a Refund: Contact support@axorigin.com with order details and reason.

Widget Refunds

  • Cancellation & Pro-Rata Refunds: Monthly ends at month-end, no pro-rata. Annual within 30 days full refund.
  • Termination by AxOrigin: Pro-rata refund if service discontinued by us.
  • Termination for Cause: No refund if terminated due to your breach.
  • Inability to Provide Service: Pro-rata refund if technical issues cannot be resolved.
  • Litigation/Compliance: No refunds for legal claims related to your website accessibility.

Accessibility Monitoring Refunds

  • Follows same rules as Widget subscriptions.
  • Pro-rata refund if monitoring cannot be performed due to blocking or restrictions.

Accessibility Audit Refunds

  • One-Time Service: Manual audits with detailed report.
  • Refund Eligibility: Full refund if website cannot be audited or report contains material errors.
  • No Refunds for Implemented Recommendations.

VPAT/ACR Reports Refunds

  • One-Time Service: VPAT/ACR Reports assess conformance with standards.
  • Refund Eligibility: Full refund if materials prevent completion or errors cannot be corrected.
  • No refunds for disagreements with findings.

Manual Remediation Refunds

  • Project-Based Service: Files, media, or website elements.
  • Refund Eligibility: Full refund if deliverables cannot be remediated or contain uncorrectable errors.
  • No refunds for customer-provided content issues or post-remediation changes.

Accessibility Consulting Refunds

  • Time-Based Service: Charged per hour. Refunds for unused hours if service not provided.
  • No refunds for completed sessions or advice provided.
  • Partial refund/credit if session materially deficient at our discretion.

Exceptions & Non-Refundable Scenarios

  • Promotional or Discounted Purchases are non-refundable unless service not delivered.
  • Third-Party Fees: Non-refundable.
  • Abuse or Misuse: No refunds if account suspended for violations.
  • Force Majeure: No refunds for events beyond control.
  • Legal Requirements: We comply with consumer protection laws where required.
